His writing career began in the newsroom where he covered various criminal cases and worked with several local attorneys throughout Fairfield County, Ohio.

His experience allows him to extract each clients’ unique story—helping to create engaging marketing copy that stands out from the competition. Before he hunted down stories for the news, Barrett earned his B.S. in Journalism from Ohio University in Athens. Both his education and inquisitive nature gained from years working for the news give our growing content team a valuable edge.

When he’s not buckling down writing web-content, you can find him exploring new areas of downtown Columbus, checking out the latest video games, or going out to the local movie theatre.
