Postali is a digital marketing agency for attorneys. While our home base is in Columbus, Ohio we’ve been serving law firms nationwide for over a decade. Our start as a direct mail campaign service provider (hence the name) has grown into all things digital. From website design and development, SEO and PPC and all of the strategy and creative output that comes with this, we are the place for law firms to get all of their marketing needs met. The Office

Our office is located in the heart of downtown Columbus in the Arena District. We’re within walking distance of Nationwide Arena and the Short North Arts District – meaning plenty of lunch and happy hour spots to choose from!   • SEO SpecialistPostali

    An SEO Specialist at Postali has one main objective–increasing organic traffic, visibility, and conversions to client sites through strategic planning and execution. We’re looking for an individual to join our Organic team who is passionate about search engine marketing and eager to help grow our client’s firms. This is an in-house position located in Columbus, Ohio.

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze client website architecture, content, linking and other factors to identify and execute initiatives to improve organic search visibility.
    • Plan and execute link building strategies including the planning and implementation of public relations and earned media initiatives.
    • Perform market analysis to keep our clients ahead of the competition in every aspect of their SEO initiatives.
    • Plan and execute local SEO strategies in order to increase visibility in local map listings and organic results.
    • Communicate with clients and Account Management to ensure strategies align with client goals.
    • Work with the Organic Team to generate and review internal reports.
    • Develop and deliver organic strategies for client website improvement.
    • Use various SEO tools at least an intermediate level and work towards advanced to mastery level of understanding in order to monitor performance trends and identify opportunities to improve local and organic rankings.
    • Keep detailed and organized lists about all work efforts.
    • Work with the SEO Director on improving processes and strategies for: keyword list development, URL and site architecture optimizations, content development, backlinking and other strategies that maximize indexing, rank, CTR and on-site conversion of SEO traffic.
    • Proactively communicate SEO results to Account Management in real-time as issues arise.
    • Closely monitor algorithm updates and anticipate future shifts in SEO best practices. Keep up with industry trends, case studies and techniques.

    Preferred:

    • 1-3 years of digital marketing and SEO experience.
    • Must demonstrate success in a previous role involving SEO.
    • Must be able to plan and execute white-hat link building campaigns.

    Additional Skills and Experience:

    • Technologically savvy, and up to date on Internet and search marketing trends.
    • Knowledge of SEO and major factors that drive long-term success, and awareness of “black hat” or other techniques that might damage customer success.
    • Experience with a content management system such as WordPress is a plus.
    • Familiarity with web analytics tools and their use in measuring SEO success.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams, both within and between organizations.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, self-management and organizational skills.

  • Marketing StrategistPostali

    The Marketing Strategist is the first line of communication with prospective clients and will be crucial in establishing the initial relationship. This person should have enough digital marketing knowledge to be able to quickly access the needs of a firm, analyze their market position and provide thoughtful and effective recommendations. This role will work closely with CEO, Jim Christy as well as the Account Management team. They will also provide critical insight and support for internal marketing efforts. This is an in-house position located in Columbus, Ohio.

    Responsibilities:

    • Receive inbound leads, discover the needs of a potential client, and propose solutions to solve their problems.
    • Prospect new leads via networking, referrals, and other outbound marketing/sales efforts–working closely with the internal marketing team to align efforts.
    • Perform market analysis to provide prospects with proposals that will put them ahead of the competition in every aspect of their marketing initiatives.
    • Maintain exceptional records in CRM and manage the sales pipeline.
    • Utilize e-signature and billing platforms crucial to the sales process.
    • Continually stay on top and ahead of the changing digital marketing landscape.
    • Contribute to company marketing strategy, and support the development and execution of traditional and digital marketing campaigns.
    • Work closely with Digital Project Management and Account Management teams to support a smooth transition process and determine resource capacity.
    • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of sales process documentation.

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of digital marketing experience.
    • Experience with a CRM system.
    • Understanding of Google Analytics and SEO monitoring/reporting platforms.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (the ability to succinctly explain complex topics)
    • Practical use and understanding of these topics are required: website products and technologies, business marketing channels (online and offline), search engine optimization (SEO), paid search, social media, source attribution, general business intake practices, project management processes and methodologies, heavy use of technology in business, & business accounting.
